Wood, Stone & Metal

I began exploring weathered wood as a product for sculpting in 2021. After years of hiking throughout the western states to create a large image bank of landscape photography I realized it was in these intimate eco systems that I was drawn to the tactile qualities of the fallen forest around me.

Since then I have amassed an inventory of overlooked weathered wood that I use to create objects of natural harmony that I have given a new fine art life. Loved and purchased by many that have seen them in a variety of Art Shows, the Sculptures have added a great value, warmth and sense of the natural landscape to the patrons homes.

The primary wood has become Cedar, Rocky Mountain Juniper, and Rocky Mountain Pine. My inventory is comprised entirely of dead wood, never have ever cut any live trees. The stones are have been collected off many of the trails I’ve hiked or mineral stones purchased from local rock shops.
